French/Spanish > English Translator — Forensic Linguist
Software professional turned translator and linguist
I began my software career in the 1990s and spent over a decade working in tech support, software QA, PHP programming, and technical writing for companies like Wolters Kluwer and Google.
Later, I studied computational linguistics at Georgetown University where I designed an algorithm for annotating temporal data in multilingual news text using machine-learning techniques.
Now, as an ATA-certified French-to-English and Spanish-to-English translator, I specialize in translating for innovative fields such as software/IT, patents, and pharmaceuticals.
Looking for expert language analysis services? As a forensic linguist, I provide expertise in authorship analysis, threat assessment, and authorial attribution to offer insight into the identity, motivations, and potential risks posed by anonymous or threatening communications.

I have worked with Jennifer over the past two years where she edits and proofreads my English translation in marketing, health, and interior design. Jennifer is truly an amazing person to work with. She is flexible, punctual, a thorough researcher, and an excellent copywriter as well. I’m really lucky to have her as a trusted reviewer and editor, and I highly recommend her for Arabic translators working from Arabic into English to maintain quality in their translation process.
